     Title: McDonald’s helping kids

By TAMMI KATE LEDFORD

The Dalhart McDonald’s hosted a Day of Change on Monday, July 1. Year around all McDonald’s through the United States collects spare change to benefit the area’s local Ronald McDonald House. Due to an increase in debit and credit card use, these small plastic containers are not as full as they used to be when diners paid with cash and dropped their change in the receptacle to assist families with housing during their child’s illness. On Monday, July 1 Dalhart diners donated generously to this special event.
