Dalhart Independent School District reported 305 votes had been record as of Monday afternoon, which is not a record; however, more voters are coming out to vote this time than in the past few elections. There are five candidates biding for two seats on the Board of Trustees. One of the seats was vacated by Board President Jeff Lloyd, and incumbent Dr. Rick Dunham is running to hold his place on the board. Mark McKay, Justin Moore and Brandi Miller are seeking a place on the Board of Trustees.
