     Title: City to delay new paving projects

No new streets in Dalhart will be paved this year, as only three people requested paving and they are all on different blocks. This falls short of the city’s participation percentage for getting a street paved. Instead, the city will concentrate on seal coating some existing paved streets and working on the alleys.

No new streets in Dalhart will be paved this year, as only three people requested paving and they are all on different blocks. This falls short of the city’s participation percentage for getting a street paved. Instead, the city will concentrate on seal coating some existing paved streets and working on the alleys.
Mayor Kevin Caddell praised Councilwomen Lola Barrow and Kerry Miller for their work in getting people to sign commitments to get their streets paved.
In personnel matters, Annette Melius, the city’s finance officer, will be working part-time for the city as they work to find a replacement for her.
