By REV. JUDI WIEGMAN

There are so many religions in our world it makes one’s head spin to try to count them. Faithful followers journey to visit the graves of various religious founders.  Some well known grave spots are, Joseph Smith, Mary Baker Eddy, Muhammad, Buddha (Gautama,) and Confucius. There are many more and they all share one thing in common; decaying bones.

This past week, a friend of mine spent several hours with a well known political figure in Washington, D.C.  His advice to my friend in seeking to find answers for the obvious mess America is in is this; “The only true answer for our nation and our world, is to cling to the resurrection and proclaim the cross.” He further challenged my friend to do everything possible to win souls to Jesus Christ. Interesting isn’t it. He didn’t suggest turning to whatever religion makes you “feel good.”
