It soon became apparent that some stuff would not be included in the trailer on our move to picturesque Pennsylvania.  I began listing them on Craigslist. One after another I sold the items and my cash bag began to bulge with the “take.” I tucked it away for safe keeping; earmarked for furniture when we found a home.

Frustration set in immediately when the first home we chose fell way short of a good inspection and we turned it down. For days we tramped from house to house in search of the place we could call home.  Andrea and Steve arrived from Euless with the trailer load of furniture hoping to unload in our house, but instead off loaded into a storage unit!  She and our granddaughter joined in the search for a house. They returned to Houston, and we made plans for the “good” inspection on the second house I was convinced was the one.
