     Title: Mary Bell’s Christmas celebrates their sixth season

Dalhart’s favorite holiday tradition sets their date to bring a smile to the faces of Dallam and Hartley county children. Mary Bell’s Christmas, is gearing up for its sixth year of giving to area children who might have their Christmas list fulfilled.

Dalhart’s favorite holiday tradition sets their date to bring a smile to the faces of Dallam and Hartley county children. Mary Bell’s Christmas, is gearing up for its sixth year of giving to area children who might have their Christmas list fulfilled.  
It is Mary Bell’s Christmas mission to provide to the less fortunate, economically depressed and underprivileged children of Dallam and Hartley Counties physically or mentally stimulating gifts at Christmas. Mary Bell’s Christmas along with Santa will also visit Coon Memorial Nursing Home and deliver stockings filled with personal care items to the residents.  
This year Mary Bell’s Christmas has limited the age children can participate. Local children, aged infant through ten years old from Dalhart, Texline, Hartley and Channing may participate in this year’s Christmas event, which is scheduled for Sunday, December 16 at Rita Blanca Coliseum. Tickets will be handed out at 12:00 p.m. for gifts which will be distributed beginning at1:00 p.m. Children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and should be dressed appropriately for the weather. Transportation can be arranged by calling 806-268-2063.
