     Title: Cross Country Team runs in state meet

The Regional Champion girls cross country team travelled to Round Rock to participate in the State meet Saturday.  The girls’ team finished in 6th place as a team.  The conditions were windy which favored the Dalhart squad.  The team was led again by Sara Smith who finished in third place with a time of 12:10.75.   Pama’s Terra Truit edged Sara for second place with a time of 12:09.01.

The Regional Champion girls cross country team travelled to Round Rock to participate in the State meet Saturday.  The girls’ team finished in 6th place as a team.  The conditions were windy which favored the Dalhart squad.  The team was led again by Sara Smith who finished in third place with a time of 12:10.75.   Pama’s Terra Truit edged Sara for second place with a time of 12:09.01.  The Lady Wolves scored 161 points, while first place team Sanger had 63 points.  Sara Smith a sophomore also competed last year when she finished in 48th place.  The team averaged 13:03.03 as a team.
