If anyone would have told me our move from Dalhart back to the Metropolis of Dallas would be for exactly two years, I wouldn’t have believed them.  But God has once again opened the door for adventure.



If anyone would have told me our move from Dalhart back to the Metropolis of Dallas would be for exactly two years, I wouldn’t have believed them.  But God has once again opened the door for adventure.  
First, there was the exciting call from California announcing we would be grandparents for the twentieth time!  Then, a call from the same daughter telling us that a wonderful new job would be taking them across the country to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!  Huh? I mean, we would have done cartwheels if the news meant a move to Dallas; but Pittsburgh?  What was God thinking?  
Six years in California without any extended family was hard enough; but Pittsburgh? To put it in her words, “Mom, at least I had an ocean!” And, what was I thinking when I blurted out, “Calm down. We’ll just move with you.” There was a peaceful, calmness in her voice as she replied, “Okay.”
