The green and white of Pampa was no match for the purple and gold of Dalhart as the Golden Wolves used a smothering defense to dominate the Harvesters with a 35-6 victory.  The Dalhart defense limited Pampa to 172 total yards and only two first downs in the first half.  Most of Pampa’s yardage did not come until the fourth quarter when the Wolves were resting their starters.  Pampa managed to score with 14 seconds left in the game thanks to help from a pass interference call against the Wolves.
The win gives the Wolves a 3-0 record in district play and 7-2 overall.  The win gives the Wolves a playoff spot and sets up a big game Friday night against the Perryton Rangers for a chance at sole possession of a district title.
