The perfect combination for a fall block party, “Keep the Shine on Denrock,” was a huge success this year. The 12th annual Chamber of Commerce sponsored event had something for everyone.

The perfect combination for a fall block party, “Keep the Shine on Denrock,” was a huge success this year. The 12th annual Chamber of Commerce sponsored event had something for everyone.
Vendors lined Denrock and began setting up their booths around 4:00 p.m. The smell of cupcakes, cookies, turkey legs, pizza and grilled cheese sandwiches filled the air. Bruce Shubert amazed hot dog lovers with his array of toppings and condiments that would make any football fan’s mouth water. However; the mysterious line that stretched over a city block and fed to a booth of sweet delights was one of the most popular culinary treats of the evening, funnel cakes.
