     Title: XIT Museum board of trustees meeting
The Dallam-Hartley Counties Historical Association held a board of trustees meeting on Tuesday afternoon, June 9th.  Robin Scott, newly elected 2nd Vice President presided over the meeting.  Also present were board members Louise Rahll and Sylvia Renick, the museum’s curator, Nick Olson and Lisa Hanbury.

    The Dallam-Hartley Counties Historical Association held a board of trustees meeting on Tuesday afternoon, June 9th.  Robin Scott, newly elected 2nd Vice President presided over the meeting.  Also present were board members Louise Rahll and Sylvia Renick, the museum’s curator, Nick Olson and Lisa Hanbury.

    Topics discussed at the meeting included the upcoming artist’s reception for Sylvia Renick, scheduled for Thursday, July 7th beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The reception, which will be held at the museum, will honor Renick and display her photo works of art.  The title of the showing will be released at the showing.  

    In August, artist Manuel Franco’s painting entitled “Buffalo Springs Division-XIT Ranch,” an original acrylic on canvas, will be unveiled at the museum.  A reception is scheduled for Thursday, August 6th at 7:00 p.m.  Both Renick and Franco will be available for discussion, photos and signing at the reception.

    Also discussed were the upcoming summer programs sponsored by the museum, including the wildlife camp and story telling.  Wildlife camp is scheduled for June 30, July 1 and 2.
