Dalhart Consumers announces the lease of Benchmark Grain Company grain facilities.  The lease consist of a 1,250,000 bushels capacity grain elevator, scales, and office, shop in Dalhart, and a 1,000,000 bushel capacity grain elevator, scales and office located five miles South West of Dalhart on CR 694.

    Dalhart Consumers announces the lease of Benchmark Grain Company grain facilities.  The lease consist of a 1,250,000 bushels capacity grain elevator, scales, and office, shop in Dalhart, and a 1,000,000 bushel capacity grain elevator, scales and office located five miles South West of Dalhart on CR 694.  “This is a strategic location on our trade area”, said Jim Turner, General Manager of Dalhart Consumers.  “The lease of this grain facility helps Dalhart Consumers achieve the Cooperatives Mission Statement – To be a Customer Driven, Aggressive, Innovative and Competitive Organization” Turner added.  This acquisition brings a combined total grain storage capacity of 13,000,000 bushels in eight locations for the locally owned cooperative.  Dalhart Consumers is headquartered in Dalhart, and has branches in Hartley, Sedan, Texline, and Wilco.  The grain marketing and farm supply Cooperative is owned by over 875 agricultural producers.  Dalhart Consumers markets grain, fertilizer, fuel feed, and farm supplies.
