     Title: Dalhart High School  students receive scholarships
Students from Dalhart High School have been awarded a total of 67 scholarships as they prepare to go off to college.  The scholarships include a wide range of businesses, interests and achievement recognition.  Many of the scholarships are from local businesses and community members and are structured to benefit local students in a wide variety of scholastic areas.

    Students from Dalhart High School have been awarded a total of 67 scholarships as they prepare to go off to college.  The scholarships include a wide range of businesses, interests and achievement recognition.  Many of the scholarships are from local businesses and community members and are structured to benefit local students in a wide variety of scholastic areas.

    The Cleo Jenkins recipients were Jordan Allford, Julian Baca, Tanner Battenhorst, Anna Batteiger, Ashlee Blea, Skilar Brown, Thomas Carter, Colton DelBosque, Vanessa Fowler, Andrew Jones, Hallie Martinez, Justine Mason, Matthew Mellema, Jordan Meador, Justin Ogle, Corlee Priestly, Whitney Salas, Kyla Smith, Luke Snead, Nicholas Turner, Treanne Turner, Jared VanPelt, Elissa Vogel, Hillary Werner, Devin Wheeler, William Wheeler, and Chelsea White.

    The Bonnie DeJarnett recipients were Julian Baca, Colton DelBosque, Hallie Martinez, Justine Mason, Whitney Salas, Kyla Smith, Jared VanPelt, Devin Wheeler, and William Wheeler.

    The Dalhart Ex-Student Scholarship was awarded to Skilar Brown.  The Zettie A. McGee Memorial Nursing Scholarship was awarded to Ashlee Blea.  The Dalhart Elks Lodge Scholarship was awarded to Tanea Rivas and Kylie Jones.  The Louise and Gene Rahll Scholarship were awarded to Nicholas Turner, Samantha Olson, Treanne Turner and Vanessa Fowler. 

    The Pioneer Hi-Bred International Premier Performance – Phil Haaland Scholarship was awarded to Matt Mellema.  The Cargill Community-Sweet Bran Scholarship was awarded to Nicholas Turner.  The Pioneer Hi-Bred International-Frontier Fuel Scholarship was awarded to Corlee Priestly.  The U.S. Navy Reserve MGIB scholarship was awarded to Chase Mendoza.  The Montgomery G.I. Bill and Army College Fund were awarded to Juan Hernandez, Ryan Law and Koby Quesenberry.  The Susan Harp Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Whitney Salas.

    The Dalhart Band Boosters Scholarship was awarded to Kaci Frates, Ashlee Blea, Kimberly Russell and Elissa Vogel.  The Dalhart Cruzers Car Club scholarship was awarded to Thomas Carter.  The Dalhart Lion’s Club Queen Scholarship was awarded to Tanea Rivas and Jasmine Bohlender.  The Dalhart Rotary Club Vocational Scholarship was awarded to Skilar Brown.  The Dalhart Rotary Club Academic Scholarship was awarded to Nicholas Turner.  The Dallam County 4-H Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Julian Baca and Jordan Medford.

    The Jim Houston Scholarship was awarded to Kimberly Russell.  The Earl Smith Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Justin Ogle and Devin Wheeler.  The Gaskill, Pharis & Pharis, LLP Accounting Scholarship was awarded to Flynn Milam.  The Homer A. Davis Scholarship was awarded to Colton Childers.  The Dalhart Student Council Scholarship was awarded to Elissa Vogel, Jasmine Bohlender and Corlee Priestly.  The Lee Howard Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Tanner Battenhorst and Justin Ogle.  The Dalhart Classroom Teachers Association Scholarship was awarded to Samantha Olson.  The Knights of Columbus Scholarship was awarded to Elissa Vogel.  The Knights of Columbus Lamberger Scholarship was awarded to Hallie Martinez.  The Ed Ondracek Scholarship was awarded to Ashlee Blea and Carrington Jones.  And the State of Texas Honor Graduate Scholarship was awarded to Jasmine Bohlender.
