     Title: St. Anthony of Padua’s Teacher of the Year
At the Diocesan Catholic Schools’ Awards Ceremony on April 26, Barbara Kaul was recognized “Teacher of the Year” by St. Anthony’s Catholic School.  Barbara has taught 2nd , 3rd and , 4th graders at St. Anthony’s for the past 20 years. Before coming to St. Anthony’s she taught in Perryton, Texhoma and Grand Prairie.  She was chosen “Teacher of the Year” for her caring attitude to all of her students, her ability to interact in a positive manner with her colleagues, and her overall upbeat disposition.

    Barbara grew up in Canadian and hails from a family of four.  Her parents still live in Canadian.  She earned her teaching degree from Texas Tech and is certified in “Learning Language Disablity” education.
    Barbara has been married to Mark Kaul for almost 28 years. Mark works for Premier Ag.  They have two sons, twenty-six year old Michael, who lives in Minneapolis and works for General Mills as a Financial Analyst and Jordan, who is 22, and is completing his final year at TCU in Fort Worth.
