Floyd French Correction
By Robin Scott
The Dalhart Texan wishes to correct a mistake in the article about Floyd French in the paper on Wednesday, February 17th. Floyd is running unopposed for Dallam County Commissioner, Precinct 4 for the first time. Floyd has not held this office before as the prior article indicated. Floyd is excited about taking on the tasks of the office, but wants everyone to know that this will be his first term. He noted on Thursday, “Thanks so much for the article, but I do want to make sure that people realize that this is the first time I’ve run for this office.”
Floyd is a lifelong resident of Dallam County and graduated from Texline High School in 1976. He has been involved with the Texline community for many years, including serving on the school board for the past twenty years. Giving back to his community as a County Commissioner has become an important goal for Floyd, and he’s looking forward to the challenges the office brings.
