Tree limb disposal

Posted by: tdt -

The City of Dalhart will allow residents to dispose of tree limbs at 200 Olive Street, outside the fenced area by the municipal garage, rather than going out to the landfill.  The opportunity is open from now through March 6th.  The recent weather storms have led to many downed tree limbs and branches causing the need for a place to put all of them.   City employees will continue to pick up limbs from curbs and in the alleys, but due to the massive amount, the process may take quite awhile.

Please cut all limbs or branches to a manageable size before placing at the curb or in the alley.  Do not block gas or water meters or interfere with the normal pick up of trash.  Please direct any questions about tree limb or branch disposal to Assistant City Manager James Stroud at 244-5511.
