Local residents are being asked to take a two-week pause to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community. In a video shared by the Dalhart Office of Emergency Management, Dr. Natalie Hobdy encouraged everyone to take steps to protect themselves and their loved ones.

“We would like for you to do what you can, and if you can, take a pause. For the next two weeks, please don’t go anywhere you don’t have to go. Don’t spend time with people who don’t live in your house. Wear your masks. Wash your hands. Protect yourselves, protect your families, protect your neighbors,” she said.
