School, hospital address vaccines

Vaccines for students entering school this year have been topics of discussion at recent school and hospital board meetings, with representatives of both expressing frustrations at the situation. 

Dalhart Independent School District Board President Robert Ledbetter first addressed the issue at the district’s board meeting last month. 

“I have gotten word that there were like 30 kids that were not going to be able to go to school on the first day because they have not gotten their vaccinations,” Ledbetter said at that meeting.
