THE DALHART TEXAN

Local schools and events have been canceled in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) include canceling or postponing events in which 50 or more people may attend. As a result, events across the nation have been suspended, and several local events have been affected as well.

City of Dalhart

The City of Dalhart announced Tuesday that all vendor permits will be denied, including food trucks, door-to-door sales, and stationary sales. Any current permits will be honored until they expire. However, current permits will not be renewed once they expire. This policy will be in effect until at least June 1.
