Hartley County Chief Deputy Chanze Fowler stopped a vehicle with a woman believed to be abducted the evening of January 31.

“I was at home at about eight in the evening, and I got the call from dispatch. They said a lady called 911 and said she was in a black Charger. She was crying hysterically and said she wanted to get out of the vehicle, but he wouldn’t let her get out,” Fowler said.

He then waited for the vehicle to travel through, stopping the driver near Hartley.
