Junior high students make clothes from newspaper

The students in the gifted and talented program at Dalhart Junior High made fashion from newspapers in a special project. The students were tasked with the assignment to create at least one article of clothing from newspaper that could be worn and removed without falling apart.

“The assignment was to make a clothing item in under four hours that could be taken off and put back on without tearing,” program advisor Shannon Wilson said.
