The Dallam-County Hospital District Board met Thursday night, January 24 for a regular meeting. Chairman of the Board Curtis Carl Chisum asked if there was anyone wishing to talk.

One lady stood and said she recently had to go to the E.R. (Emergency Room). She complained about her treatment and did not feel it was good, and said she would not be paying the bill. A gentleman said he was very impressed with the treatment he received recently. The third person was a lady who previously worked for the hospital, and her job was recently eliminated. She had asked for a transfer to another area and has had no luck. The final comment was a man who spoke and the rumors he has heard. Board members assured him none were correct. Several board members spoke to those who addressed the board.
