The election for the two open positions on the Dalhart Independent School District (DISD) Board of Trustees was held Saturday, May 5 at the Dalhart City Hall. Since there were two open positions on the board and since all the positions are considered at-large, each voter was allowed to vote for two candidates and the two candidates who received the most votes were elected to the board.

Incumbent Tammy Schniederjan was reelected with 339 votes, which was the most of any of the candidates. Bob Bailey was elected to the other open position with 327 votes. Tami Moore received 278 votes. Boyd Barrow, whose seat on the school board was also up for election this year, chose not to run for reelection, so Bailey will basically take his position on the board.
