Local 4th grader Kenadie Koontz makes crafts to help hospice

Kenadie Koontz is a local fourth grader who has come up with a unique way to help others. Koontz is very good at making beaded crafts, so she combined that with her desire to help others to start Kenadie’s Project.

Koontz, who is nine-years old, says that she say her mom helping people through her job at Coon Memorial Home Health and Hospice, and decided that she wanted to help too. So she started Kenadie’s Project. Koontz began making beaded items such as lanyards, necklaces, bracelets, wristlets, and key chains.
