Gun trucks: one of the lesser known stories of the Vietnam War

Tomorrow is Veterans Day, a day to remember and honor those who have fought for our freedom and defended our country, and those who have served in times of peace as well, knowing that at any time they could be called on to do even more. Veterans, and those who are currently in the armed services, should really be recognized all year long for what they contribute to the U.S.

It wouldn’t be possible to tell every story from every war that our veterans have fought in. Many of the stories have been portrayed in movies or appeared in books and magazines or on TV. One story however, that is not as well known, is the story of the gun trucks of Vietnam.
