The Texas Education Agency (TEA) announced recently Dalhart ISD “met standard” in the 2017 accountability ratings, and that all Dalhart campuses “met standard” as well.

Schools and districts are evaluated in four different areas, or “indexes,” and must meet targets on either Index 1 or 2, and on Index 3 and Index 4 in order to receive the “met standard” rating. Those areas are Student Achievement (Index 1), Student Progress (Index 2), Closing Performance Gaps (Index 3), and Postsecondary Readiness (Index 4.) Dalhart ISD met standard in all four of those areas as a district.
