The Community Connect Fall Schedule of classes will be available this Saturday, Sept. 19, at the “Put the Shine on Denrock” downtown block party. The Community Connect Booth will be located in front of the First National Bank at Third St. and Denrock.

“In addition to the enrichment and online class schedule, we will have information about GED and ESL classes,” said Sylvia Renick, program director.

A sampling of the fall enrichment classes include a pumpkin carving and a pumpkin piñata workshop; beginning computer classes; and “First Shot” a gun safety and target shooting class.

The fall program will also include nearly 25, Ed2Go online classes spanning computer knowledge to event planning, business law to manufacturing

fundamentals, and Speed Spanish to Guiding Kids on the Internet, which will now qualify for WTA&M University continuing education credits.

Community Connect is the Community Education Program for the Dalhart area and is funded by Dalhart Independent School District, the City of Dalhart, Dallam-Hartley Counties Hospital District, and Dallam and Hartley Counties.
