The Hartley County Commissioners met Monday morning, September 12, for a regular meeting. There were only two items in addition to their regular agenda. The commissioners adopted the $3.2 million dollar budget and the tax rate of 39 cents per $100 of taxable property value.

The Dallam County Commissioners also met Monday and approved their budget for the upcoming fiscal year. The FY 2016-2017 budget of S4.4 million, as well as the tax rate of 36 cents, which is down from 38 cents last year, and the records preservation budget of $30,000 were all adopted. The records preservation allows Terri Banks, County and District Clerk to preserve her records.
