Early Voting Begins For State Run-Offs

Early voting began yesterday in the run-off elections for several state offices.

On the Republican ballot, voters have the opportunity to decide between Gary Gates and Wayne Christian for railroad commission.

Also on the Republican ballot, for the court of criminal appeals, Mary Lou Keel and Ray Wheless are each seeking position two, and Brent Webster and Scott Walker are each seeking position five.

On the Democratic ballot, Grady Yarbrough and Cody Garnett are each seeking the railroad commission seat.

Early voting will be conducted at the Dallam County Court Clerk’s office at the Dallam County Courthouse from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Friday.
