Both the Dallam and Hartley County Commissioners met on Monday morning, May 9.

The Hartley County Commissioners met and voted to move their June meeting day to Friday, June 10 as on their regular meeting date of June 13 they will be at a county judges and commissioners meeting.

They discussed property hail damages and repairs. They voted to go ahead and replace the roof at the annex building in Dalhart at 701 Texas Boulevard and the vehicles.

The commissioners deeded to the City of Channing two lots that did not sell at a recent tax sale.

In Dallam County, Judge Wes Ritchey gave an update on roof and property damage.

He said the courthouse had considerable damage, almost $300,000. He said the jail needs immediate attention.

There is some leaking on the old flat roof.
