State ends year with job growth

Texas saw 10 months of job growththrough 2015, according to the TexasWorkforce Commission (TWC). Thecommission released their monthlyemployment statistics Friday andreported that Texas saw an additional24,900 seasonally adjusted, non-farmjobs in December.

“Texas finished 2015 on a strongnote in December with employers adding166,900 jobs over the year across a diverserange of industries,” TWC ChairmanAndres Alcantar said. “Our state offersmany advantages to employers whochoose to do business in Texas and weare pleased employers continue to createopportunities for Texas workers.”
