Mayor chief for city in aid agreement

City Council met on Wednesday night, May 28, instead of Tuesday night because meeting agendas were not properly posted in time for Tuesday’s regular meeting. Didn’t affect city business though as council cruised through a short but busy agenda.
Council conducted the first reading of Ordinance 2014-10 on a proposed zone change of a 3.727 acre tract out of the South part of Lot 13, Frank Pereira Industrial Park from Commercial to R-3 Residential Zoning to develop housing. The first reading was approved. These plats will be on Jefferson, across the street from the Elks Lodge.
