Run off election for Hartley County Justice of the Peace May 27

With no Democrats on the ballot in either Dallam or Hartley County, the Republican Primary Election held Tuesday March 4, decided local races. There were no contested races in Dallam County so those appearing on the ballots will be placed in their positions Jan. 1, 2015.
Hartley County voters had two races to decide, the much contested Justice of the Peace Race and the County Commissioner Precinct 4 Race. In the Hartley County Justice of the Peace race, Beth Bezner Moore received the most votes with 359 casting their approval of the challenger. Incumbent Edwyna Womble received 330 total votes, J.P. Libby received 131 votes and Ty Hancock garnered 82 votes.
