City faces water well issues
City Administrator wants council to take deep look into well plan

Dalhart City Administrator James Stroud is concerned about the city’s ability to supply its citizens with enough water as Dalhart grows.
According to Stroud, Dalhart is maxing out its water rights on the north side of town where it draws its water and on that end of town one well is sucking air and another is out of commission forever due to contamination.
