Union Pacific’s Response Management Communications Center awarded elite CALEA accreditation
Union Pacific’s Response Management Communications Center (RMCC) recently earned accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), joining an elite group recognized for commitment to excellence in law enforcement. Union Pacific’s RMCC has the distinction of being one of the few private communications centers to receive accreditation. This honor is reserved for agencies that have demonstrated the highest standards in four areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
“In order to qualify for accreditation, Union Pacific’s RMCC met the criteria for more than 200 professional standards,” said Bob Grimaila, vice president of Safety, Security and Environment at Union Pacific. “We are proud of CALEA’s validation that the RMCC is committed to providing the very best public safety communications as we serve our employees, customers and the nearly 7,300 communities in which we operate.”
