Principal creating college culture for students
There is a new and exciting culture being expanded at Dalhart High School. It’s one of higher learning and encouragement to students to further their education past high school either by going to college or a vocational school after graduation. Whatever it may be, Principal Derek Hollingsworth is creating a post-secondary education culture at the school.
“We recognize education is a gateway to opportunity and we want our students to realize it’s a big, big world,” he said during an interview Wednesday at the school. “Whether that is a four-year degree or attending a vocational school we want to encourage our students to further their education.”
