Panhandle Academy of Ballet held their Second Annual Spring Recital on Saturday, June 8 in the Dalhart High School Auditorium. Over eighty performers took the stage in front of a standing room only crowd and guided the spectators into the world of dance.
The audience was issued a passport in their programs as they entered the auditorium. Two groups of beautiful dancers opened the recital in Texas with Ballerina Cowboy and I Really Love to Dance. A younger group of dancers led the audience to Hawaii with an adorable choreographed performance to Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
The audience traveled to Spain with three lovely dancers as they twirled their skirts in rhythm with Don Quixote, Act I Number 4. A group of young ladies adorned in sequined skirts of aqua, hot pink and purple prepared the crowd to travel to Ireland with Tangled, Kingdom Dance.
