Change-- it’s a good thing

Posted by: tdt -

Traditionally, local happenings have been a vital part of our readers’ connection to the community. In the past we have charged for the information event coordinators, school administrators, government entities and area clubs provide, which was published in the Local Happening’s section of the Texan.
“It’s time for a change,” stated Scott Wood, the new Publisher of the Dalhart Texan. “We want to connect with the community in every way possible in a positive manner,” Wood added. The Dalhart Texan’s Local Happenings page will be our readers’ connection to Community Events in the area.
Information regarding what’s happening in the Dalhart area will be published twice at no charge subject to editing and space available. We want to hear from our readers.
