Jotting Judi - Orang-a Glad?
Recently someone shared this story with me. She was a passenger in a car that got pulled over. While the officer was talking to the driver about his slightly heavy foot, she tossed a cigarette out of the passenger window. Not a good plan where fire risk is high; she got the ticket! Standing before the judge, she was reprimanded and slapped with a fine of $435.00. Or, she could take three days of community service to “work off” the ticket. Instantly, she opted to serve. The judge, sized up the classy lady standing before him and stated, “You do know you’ll need to wear THE ORANGE VEST, right? Right! She did it. For three humiliating days she appeared in public, branded as a “litterbug,” wearing her bright orange vest.
