Reining XIT Rodeo Queen, Laramie Mika Wing is the 17-year-old daughter of Mike Wing and Traleia Wing. She is granddaughter of Jo Wing and the late Larry Wing and Troy and Betty Wharton. Laramie has two brothers; Stormy and Tex. She was raised outside of Dalhart where her love for horses and the country life began at a young age. She is a junior at Dalhart High School. She is the Dalhart Rodeo Club President, where she is a THSRA and TSHSRA member. She competes in breakaway, goat tying, barrel racing, pole bending, and team roping. Laramie has been a state and Tri-State qualifier in the goat tying the last two years. She is also the FFA club Vice President, where she showed pigs and a steer and competed in leadership event contests. Laramie was the 2007 Range Riders Rodeo Queen and in 2007 represented the DHS Rodeo Club as their queen. She is active SubDeb member, where she enjoys doing community service. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being with her horses.
