Dalhart Mayor will not seek re-election

Dalhart Mayor, Kevin Caddell announced Thursday, February 14 he will not seek another term as Dalhart’s Mayor. “It’s like Jeff Lloyd said, I’m a terms limit kind of guy.” Caddell has been Mayor for eight years and prior to his stint as Mayor Caddell served on the Dalhart City Council.
Caddell has ushered Dalhart through many changes and progress during his terms in office. Dalhart’s economic growth is apparent and steady and Caddell has seen many projects to fruition. His positive out look and hometown spirit will long be remembered as one of Dalhart’s finest Mayors.
