Sandy Ridge Ranch leisurely living

The Dalhart City Council voted Tuesday, March 27, 2012 to award a bid for the sale of 16.58 acres of land to Sandy Ridge Ranch, LLC.  The property sold to Damon Admire, representing Sandy Ridge Ranch for $12,000 per acre to construct a 64 unit apartment complex.
The first phase of the upscale apartments consisting of two bedroom, two bath units are scheduled for completion on February 1, 2013. “We are waiting on our CO (Certificate of Occupancy),” stated Admire. Local utility providers XIT and Windstream have additional work to complete to enable the testing of the fire system and ensuring that the system is online prior to move-in of anxious residents, Admire explained. “We didn’t have electricity until last week,” he added. The entire project was built using generator power.
