Wolves blast Caprock

The Golden Wolves hosted Caprock in basketball action Tuesday and continued to play at a fast pace with lots of passing and great assists.  The Wolves ran away with a 20 point victory winning 62-42.  The game was not without its mistakes, however, as it seemed the faster the Wolves played the more turnovers they committed.
James Harris got the opening jump and tipped the ball to Zach Richardson for a quick layup.  Richardson then had an assist to Cameron Vogel for a layup to make the score 4-0.  Hayden Smith then stole the ball and threw it down court to Tone Gonzales to make the score 6-4.  Vogel made a 10 foot jump shot, and then Smith hit a three point shot to make the score 11-6.  The Wolves continued to score stretching the lead to 19-10 at the end of the first quarter.
