“Edna’s Light” Christmas Program 2012

The Dalhart Ministerial Alliance is pleased to announce that the “Edna’s Light” Christmas Basket adoption program will have applications available Monday November 26. The program benefits families in the community that feel they will need help with Christmas gifts for their children. The applicants may be picked up at Panhandle Community Services, located in the Dallam County Courthouse, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Completed applications should be returned to Panhandle Community Services no later than 12:00 p.m. Monday December 10.
If you would be interested in adopting a family for the Christmas season, the adoption roster and phone number to call (806) 884-9760, will be published in the Dalhart Texan on a regular basis as soon as applications are received. The last day to adopt a family will be Monday, December 17. All community members adopting a family are asked to deliver the gifts to the adopted families by Friday, December 21. For those wishing to adopt a family but are unable to shop for the applicants requests, contributions may be sent to the Dalhart Ministerial Alliance at PO Box 505, Dalhart TX 79022.

4. Single mom of one child needing shirts and pants. Also needing a food certificate.
5. Separated mother of one toddler needing winter clothes. Also needing a food certificate.
6. Divorced mother of two children needing shirts and pants. Also needing a food certificate.
7. Separated mother of four children needing jeans, shirts and pants and pajamas. Also needing a food certificate.
8. Single mother of three children needing pants, shirts and jackets. Also needing a food certificate.
9. Married mother of four needing jeans and shirts. Also needing a food certificate.
10. Single mother of two children needing socks, shoes and jeans. Also needing a food certificate.
11. Single mother of three children needing jackets and jeans. Also needing a food certificate.
12. Single mother of five children needing jeans, shirts, diapers and any baby items. Also needing a food certificate.
13. Single mom of two children needing jeans and shoes. Also needing a food certificate.
