Black Friday in the smallest places

Black Friday has become an unofficial national holiday for Christmas shoppers each year. The theory behind the super sale day is to generate enough business for retailers to move their recorded sales from the loss column to the profit column, out of the red and into the black. Retailers offer deep discounts to promote sales and make their profit margin off of volume.
Many retailers offer selected items in limited quantities to lure shoppers into their stores and up sell them or offer them additional add-ons to increase their sales, or as some would call it, decoy items and even bait and switch. This is where Black Friday gets tricky. Shoppers scan sale papers, collect coupons and map out a shopping strategy, but none of these techniques prevents the Christmas shopper from being the first to arrive and just waiting on the store to open.
