By RODNEY WHITE Some people say that the third time is the charm, but that was not the case for the Dalhart Golden Wolves as they were knocked out of the playoffs by the Mustangs for the second year in a row 41-13. The Wolves had faced Shallowater in the fourth game of the season this year and lost 44-14. This time the Wolves played a much better game, but they were plagued by turnovers, dropped passes and untimely penalties. The Wolves had three costly fumbles and lost all three, plus two interceptions stalled Dalhart drives. In the end the size and speed of Shallowater was just too much for the Wolves who ended their season with a record of 7-4.
