Would you like cream in your coffee?

The curve on Denver Avenue at the corner of Second Street seemed to be the hot spot on Wednesday, November 7 at approximately 10:00 a.m. A tractor trailer hauling coffee creamer over turned and came to rest on its side, “I started around the curve and my load shifted,” stated the driver who only identified himself as TJ.
Dallam County Sheriff’s department assisted with traffic and Dalhart Fire and Rescue handled the fluids that leaked from the semi’s engine. No injuries were reported. A TxDot employee that was at the scene stated speed could have been a contributing factor to the accident.
