Wolves kick Bulldogs’ tail

Posted by: tdt -

For three years the district championship belonged to the Borger Bulldogs, with the Bulldogs claiming victories over Dalhart by three, six and one point last year.  This year the Golden Wolves ended three years of frustration by kicking a field goal, as time expired, to defeat the Bulldogs for the first time in four years.
Cameron Vogel had a perfect snap to Noe Subeldea who had a great spot and then OScotty Castro hit a perfect 27 yard field goal as time expired to give the Golden Wolves a 23-20 victory moving the Wolves to 2-0 in district play and 6-2 for the season.
Dallam Read stated after the game that it was an amazing atmosphere and the feeling at the end of the game was awesome. Last year when these two teams met, Borger had a player that ripped off Dallam’s helmet and knocked his tooth out.
