Fields of Faith is a peer-to-peer event that takes place every October at high school athletic fields and stadiums across the United States. On Wednesday October 10, area students joined in the nationwide prayer which was themed as Get In The Game – Get In The Book.
The force behind Fields of Faith sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) encourages students to invite their own classmates and teammates to hear fellow students share their testimonies, their desires to follow Christ and challenge each other to read the Word of God. An athletic field is used as a neutral, nondenominational point where a community can come together. No one church, no one person is responsible but an entire community joins together in prayer and spends quality time worshipping one God.
