2012 Homecoming royalty crowned

The excitement of homecoming is heightened each year by the crowning of the Dalhart High School royalty and the arctic blast that blew in during the preparation for the coronation. Homecoming is a time of reflections and festivity, and this year is no different. Each grade level of the student body has selected senior candidates to represent their class in the Dalhart High School homecoming bid for the royal title of 2012 King and Queen. The senior candidates are students that are outstanding citizens and active in their community, various school sports and several clubs, organization and extra curricular activities.  
The glimmer of Friday night lights were brightened by the spit shine of the Memorial Stadium, the roaring crowd, the increased size of the Golden wolves Marching Band and the  anticipation of the 2012 crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen.
